REPORT ON THE USE OF PROPERTY, BC ASTANA FOR THE YEAR 2012
1. Overview
 
Basketball team Astana was created in March 2011 with support from the National Welfare Fund "Samruk-Kazyna". The capital club is involved in European basketball tournament, "VTB United League," as well as the Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in basketball.
Already, BC Astana – it’s a club that united a leading Kazakh players: Rustam Yargaliev, Anton Ponomarev, Dmitry Klimov, Pavel Ilyin, Rustem Murzagaliev and others, as well as the well-known foreign players whose names are well known in Europe: Jerry Johnson, Brion Rush, Branko Cvetkovic and David Simon. Players of "Astana" are members of the national team of the Republic of Kazakhstan in basketball, and in August of this year, will participate in the Asian Championship that to be held in Manila (Philippines).

– 7th place in class "A" in the VTB United League (season 2011/12)
– 5th place in class "A" and exit in the playoffs VTB United League (season 2012/213)
 
– In 2012, basketball players of Astana, along with the coaching staff held several workshops for students and young basketball players from the Youth in Astana.
– In a few games of the regular season, BC Astana has organized a visit for the match of children with disabilities, children from orphanages and poor families. All of them received gifts from the club.
All-season game BC Astana, within the framework of the existing memorandum on cooperation in the field of physical culture and sports, has worked closely with the Eurasian National University. Students of this university has repeatedly been invited to the games, the players of the club participated in the student life of the University, conducted workshops, talks and workshops.
 
              
2. Source of financing
The source of funding for a total of 735,000,000 (seven hundred thirty-five million tenge), which have been utilized in full, is the Fund "Samruk-Kazyna".
