Capital basketball team, which is part of the President’s professional sports club Astana, will have their second game in VTB United League away. And they go to the most successful club in Russia – BC CSKA Moscow!

On the eve of the match, head coach of the BC Astana Matteo Boniciolli shared his opinion about the upcoming opponent:
 "We will play against one of the best basketball teams in the world. CSKA coach Ettore Messina is one of the best European coaches of all time. This game is a great chance to check out where we are now and how far we are from the top European level. This match will be the first game for Anton Ponomarev after a long injury, and it will give more benefits to the rotation of the "big" players. We fly to Moscow to show everything what we can do."
 
 

Power forward Pat Kalates: "BC CSKA Moscow is a very strong team. I will play in Moscow for the fifth time, and it is always difficult to play there. Now, if you look at the squad of CSKA, it is certainly part of the NBA level, but I think if we run, and we will play at a fast pace , then we will be able to give them fight."
