BC Astana signed two Kazakh players.

Basketball team Astana continues to prepare for the new season. Today the club has signed a contract with two players, members of the national team of Kazakhstan – a point guard Timur Sultanov and powerful striker Michael Evstigneev.

Both players are experienced, have great track record in their professional careers. They have become medalists of Championship of Kazakhstan with their teams. These players have  played in the national team of Kazakhstan in the Asian continent. Now for the guys home team will be the capital club Astana.
 
As the guys say, they are happy that clubs trusts them, and that they will be able to play in the best club of the country.
Timur Sultanov: "Thank you for your confidence in me, I will try to meet the expectations of the coaching staff. I am glad to be able to protect the colors of the capital club. Our team is strong and united."
 

Michael Yevstigneev: "I am delighted to have signed a contract with BC Astana. Nice to be here, it’s a serious organization, everything is at a high level. I’d like to show myself not only in the National League, but also on the VTB League games. The staff here are friendly, strong coaching staff. I like it, I’ll just try to do my best."
 
Head coach Matteo Boniciolli also shared his impressions:
– These are two important Kazakh players that will make our team stronger. Both have a lot of experience and I am sure they will be useful for the team. I’m very happy for them coming to Astana.
